what support is there

The National Minimum Wage for an apprentice aged under 19 is £3.90 per hour, if you are aged over 19 this is £3.90 for the first year of employment, then after 12 months your salary migrates to the National Minimum Wage for your age.

Apprentices supported by the WCAA will also receive a trade kit of tools from our sponsors Travis Perkins to support their training. Employers receive a financial grant of £500 paid in two installments throughout your apprenticeship.
