wHAT’S IN IT FOR ME?

ABOUT

The construction industry is currently facing a skills gap of both trade and professional construction workers and consequently there are a lot of opportunities available for construction apprentices.

The interest in the Worcestershire Construction Apprentice Academy continues to grow, and since its establishment in 2014, we now have over 30 apprentices who have successfully applied with their employer to receive funding and trade vouchers to support their skills and learning.

Every school year and in partnership with the Heart of Worcestershire College, we look to support additional apprenticeships throughout Worcestershire.

“The skills gap we face in construction means that there are opportunities for apprentices that can be turned into long-term careers.”
